Typical Bolted Bonnet Globe Valves

This illustration represents a typical Kinka bolted bonnet globe valve. There will be some minor modifications in each class, type and size.

  3. Disc  is swivel plug type. Ball type or needle type disc can be provided when so requested.
  4. Seat Rings in this illustration is screwed-in type. When the hard faced seat is requested, the seat is formed on the body by stellite deposit.
  5. Stem

  7. Bonnet Bolts
  8. Gland is two-piece, ball type which exerts uniform pressure on the packing without binding the stem in the event that nuts are unevenly tightened.

  10. Handwheel or Bevel-Gear Type Valve Operator (not illustrated here)
